We do not have a Huntsville office. Our office is at 300 West Green Street in Athens, about twenty-five minutes west of downtown Huntsville, and we handle Madison County matters from there every week.

For most of what we do — a closing, a deed, a will, an estate, an LLC — where the lawyer sits matters far less than whether the work gets done correctly and on time. Filings still go to the Madison County Probate Office and the Madison County Courthouse in Huntsville either way.

What we handle for Madison County clients

• Real estate closings, title work, and deeds. Deeds for Madison County property are recorded in the Madison County Probate Office. How our closings work
• Estate planning. Wills, powers of attorney, advance directives, and trust planning. Signings are scheduled at your convenience.
• Probate and estate administration. Madison County estates are administered through the Madison County Probate Court. What probate involves
• Business formation and contracts. LLCs, corporations, operating agreements, and the agreements a working business signs.
• Personal injury. Alabama is a contributory negligence state, and filing deadlines run sooner than people expect. Early is better.

How it works when you are not in Athens

Most consultations happen by phone. Documents can be sent and returned electronically. When a signing has to happen in person — a will, a deed, a closing — we schedule it so you make one trip, not three, and we tell you in advance exactly what to bring.

If your matter genuinely needs someone in a Huntsville courtroom on short notice, we will say so rather than take it.

Before you call

Some limits worth knowing up front. We handle uncontested divorce only, evictions on the landlord side only, and DUI and traffic matters. We do not handle bankruptcy, immigration, roof-insurance claims, or student-loan matters.
